Pianoart End of Year 2019 Concert

Pianoart organises an end of year concert to ASD piano students in order to validate their individual work during one year into social work frame while developing several skills at the same time

It’s important to notice in this video that:

  • ASD Students of pianoart represent the ASD population in society as there’s no preselection (only rare cases of extremely behaviour disorder) while admitting them to special piano education. 

  • Highly functional or not, all students were present and able to perform the totality of their program with, attention,  concentration, excellent interaction with public, respect and good listening to each other and to their teacher.

  • This concert was a great cultural occasion to inform students about the world of music while presenting them music styles with images and music examples of each style and  enabling them to listen to other many piano music through history and different composers

  • Great improvement of social, behavioral, personal skills were noticed after the concert

  • Through specialised piano lessons and concerts, Pianoart prepares students to have promising study and work future while enabling them through piano to get many practical skills and concepts: task work and achievement, precision, concentration, project work, respect of colleagues and many others. Pianoart employs highly performance piano and educational concepts and technics associated with clinical and therapy skills while working individually with each ASD student.

A happy event accompanied with wonderful piano music

My student Pierrick had a wonderful message to the bride and groom through three beautiful piano pieces, he bewitched with his performance of hundreds in the room. This message invites to transparency and harmony (Mozart), Joy and energy (Blue Danube), to love, tenderness and nature (Barcarolle), he performed all these piano music pieces with great self-control, concentration and wonderful social interaction with public.

Success of specialised adapted piano learning depends on: 

Trust and positive reinforcement of the parents, commitment and valorization of the student to his piano lessons, and finally the know-how and the specialized adjusted approach of teacher

It was also a great opportunity:

  • To introduce the specific approach of Pianoart in the TSA

  • To meet extraordinary people: musicians, educators, physicians etc. to and discuss topics on music and health.

  • To answer directly on many questions about my special approach in ASD that is generating a lot of interest in the US given e-mails with interesting questions I receive frequently.
